A MAD Magazine issue 1 would be worth around £130 in near mint condition.

Translated versions of Mad are published all over the world! The UK edition of Mad was cancelled several years ago, but the original US edition (which has more pages anyway) is available from WH Smiths every month. - Lew Stringer

Mad magazine is still running. It was originally published in America in the fifties as Tales Calculated to Drive You Mad, but the first UK edition was in 1959 - Clive Huggett
