The Coonskin Grenadier

During the Second World War, that plush British regiment, the Royal Grenadiers (King George's Own), was stunned by the arrival of Zebadiah Flood, an American hill-billy. Under a warrant granted to Zeb's ancestors in 1760 by George lll, Zeb became an Honorary Sergeant in the regiment - and there was nothing the Grenadiers could do about it!
