Just because a Sub Category is in the drop down list of the tool bar does not mean necessarily there are those titles in the Comic Store database.

The Sub Categories are used for searching and for adding items to the Store.

The Sub Categories can refer either to titles in the Store or titles that have previously been in the Store but are now sold.

If there are no titles in that Sub Category you will get the message:

Results Not Found!

Toolbar Search

The Toolbar Search appears at the top of every page on 26pigs and enables you to search the Comic Store by filling in a number of fields.

• Top Level Category e.g. UK Comics, UK Annuals, US Comics
• Sub Category e.g. The Beano, Whizzer and Chips, Superman
• The Date
• The Shops

We use the Top Level Category and Sub Category to database the items in the comic store so that you can easily find what we have and so the 'Seller' can easily add their items.

Not all the Sub Categories you see in the drop down list will have items in them, this is because there were some but they have been sold. If we don't have what you're looking for then add it to My Wants or My Interests.

Some items you may need to search by date. We found this especially useful when trying to find a comic to match someone's birth / anniversary date for a present.

All Shops that sell on 26pigs are included in the Tool Bar; this enables you to search for items on sale only from a particular shop.

Advanced Search

To perform a more thorough search of 26pigs and to select which way you want the results to be shown click on the 'Advanced Search' link at the top of each page.

The Advanced Search fields are:

• Title
• Top Level Category and Sub Category
• Date
• Keywords

And you can view the order of the results by:

• Date
• Price High
• Price Low
