Buttons was to Pre-School children, what Look-in was to the young teenagers in the early 80s. It was based on BBC TV programs for the Very Young and even had a TV listing guide.

The Editorial was called Button Hole and each week there was a 'read aloud story'. Play School, based on the very popular childrens program, was a quiz and 'things to do' section at the back of the comic.
